There should be a social worker at your PCPs office who can easily and quickly connect you with a therapist. Once you get a PCP that is….

Also how does a 1ml cartridge compare to 1g? Weird to have different units of measure.
To keep, 1g means that the cart has 1g of concentrate in it. The volume is kind of arbitrary as the amount of concentrate is what matters. But by saying 1ml what does that really mean? There’s 1ml of liquid but how much of that is concentrate?

That’s that 92% wholesale vape tax for you. And FWIW ceres is actually cheaper than the others that have carts that I’ve seen. I think GSG has only one strain and it’s a 0.5G cart for $60. Ceres is 1g for $75

Or how much we could have made if we did this 10 or even 5 years ago. Or if we did it right instead of half assed with a handful of stores and a messed up licensing system.

Oak do tend to fall into the “looks awful but is surprisingly hardy” camp. There’s one by me where the massive tree was entirely hallow - trunk broke in half vertically after the middle filled with water and froze, now it’s literally just half a hollow tree trunk with a beautiful and luscious canopy.
BUT, oaks can send big branches flying as well.
Best of luck. Might be worth making sure the hotel has backup power

Do you plan on leaving the county should there be an issue? If not, I probably would leave my passport in a safe and secure spot but then again I lose shit when I travel.
You’ve got a good start but I would also have a game plan for WHERE you’re going to go if something happens. We live in a rural area with well water which means when the power goes out we are 100% down and out with no water even. Makes the house pretty much unlivable. Should the power go out for an extended period we will head to my mother in laws house.
What kind of tree? Some are surprisingly resilient despite looking awful, while others can appear totally healthy and totally fall apart in a storm. A pic would help assess the threat too.

K. It’s pretty clear you just want to debate because I said something semi critical relating to mental health, so I’m not going to belabor this. But when I say a non-service dog I literally mean a dog that is not trained to do the job that this person is having it do, and not trained to be in general public 24/7. I don’t agree that the person likely still needs it. I’m sure they THINK that they need it, but personally knowing multiple people who fall under this umbrella I can confidently say that owning and caring for these animals and putting the pressure of this on the animals has led to more strife and anxiety than it has alleviated for them. And many MANY are using it as a stand in for actual treatment, which is incredibly sad.
In the end both the dog and the owner are worse off for it.

Yup. Ours had a (kinda crazy) contract that we had to sign. Home inspection including making sure we had an adequate fence around our entire yard. It’s a bit over the top but I understand the why behind it and am not against it.
Honestly we live somewhere where a fence isn’t really feasible and I plan to always have him on leash/train him to be ok off leash on my own property….I had them come to my folks house to pass the inspection lol.

No, it’s not. Using a poorly trained and poorly cared for dog as a band aid for your mental health meanwhile bringing it places where it’s not allowed and whatever risks are associated with that is neither good for you, nor the dog, nor society. Sorry it came across as brash, but it’s true. These people will literally destroy a dogs life for a temporary perceived improvement in their mental health meanwhile actually negatively impacting their overall mental health.
Just because I’m talking about mental health doesn’t mean what I’m saying is wrong or shouldn’t be said. It’s also not a dig at these people - they quite literally need more help than just the emotional companionship of a dog that is not trained to provide emotional support.
There are many people out there literally abusing their dogs in the name of mental health all the while detracting from actual service dogs.

Agreed. I have never not had a dog and have had multiple at some points. People are always surprised when they say "wow you're a big dog person!" and I'm like "the fuck I am!"
My dogs are dogs, not little prince/princesses that get treated like royalty and allowed to run the house. I don't keep them outside and I certainly do spoil them in some ways, but they are fucking dogs.

As a pretty big dog person, totally agree. My favorite thing to do when a dog is barreling toward my (on leash) dog and their stupid ass frantic owner is screaming that (why do you need to scream warn me of this fact if the dog is so perfect??) is to say "oh, well mine's not" and just stand there. It's doubly fun when they then get mad at ME. "Why do you have your dog out here if he's not friendly blah blah blah!"
My dog is friendly, but when he is on leash and settled and your little POS comes barreling at him out of nowhere, i neither blame him nor will reprimand him for standing his ground and putting your dog in its place. Little do they know if my dog was off leash he would just frolick and play (the eskimo way), but when he is on leash he's a bit more reactive.
Also if you need to bring your non-service dog into the grocery store in order to not have a panic attick you need more help than your toothless chihuahua can provide.

My dog is well behaved like 75% of the time, and since I have him under control 100% of the time you would never interact with him unless you wanted.

IMO it’s all about the dog and the owner. I know someone with a gigantic malamute who I am confident enough in that I’d send them to the White House with it. At the same time I know people with pugs who I wouldn’t trust in an empty field.
That being said, anyone who relies on the presence of a poorly trained dog for their well being is delusional and detracting from actual service dogs while putting a bandaid on their actual condition. If you need a poorly trained and poorly kept chihuahua in your shopping cart in order to navigate hannaford you need more help than your chihuahua can provide.

I love dogs. I hate shitty dog owners. I hate dog owners that unnecessarily anthropomorphize their dogs. I hate when people let dogs interfere with hunting and fishing.
But, this post is fucking stupid….
I'll take my dog where I want, when I want TYVM. But my dog is also well trained and well behaved, and I am a good enough owner (and thoughtful enough human) to not take him places where I know he won't do well or I know it's an imposition on others.
I thought all of the dog posts were a bit silly but now I very well may post my own!

Reply to comment by Food_Library333 in Anyone have any epic snowy day memories to share? by Vermontess
New employee of mine moved here from LA in January last year. The first week she was here we had a few days of negative temps and a huge dumping of snow. She called me crying from her driveway saying that she didn't know this would be so challenging, her car was stuck, she didn't have a shovel, she didn't even know snow tires were a thing until that very day. She was spiraling and basically finally just said "i don't know how you guys do it, this place is like hell, like a really fucking cold and slippery hell!"
I told her to please take the day, and that the next time she worked we would go over some advice for dealing with snow and cold.
I just went to check in with her about this storm and she is currently outside without a jacket trying to catch snowflakes. I think we won her over, guys.

Dude that lady is fucked. She has spent hours responding maniacally to old comments of mine since I told her she needs help.
I know people like her IRL. Almost guarantee she has some degree of mental illness and is also a “dog person” but in reality uses dogs as an outlet for her own personal issues. Like assuming they are all dying and need better care and more love. There’s no helping and no reasoning. If you say anything remotely critical she will spend the day flaming you with absurdity.
