To be fair, 30 years ago it was “crazy” fringe to be for legalization. And 20 years ago it was still fringe. Even 10 years ago a solid majority opposed legal weed- it was just not a policy position worth sticking one’s neck out for.

Then Colorado changed everything.

But yeah, nh has had a solid 10 years to get their shit together.

Makes sense. We gained 20 + million people since 2010… then had a pandemic which fueled incredible division, inequality, domestic violence, and a rush on gun sales.

How many cops were killed by citizens in 2021 vs previous years?

The fact that more people were killed by police in 2021 needs additional analysis to draw any take-aways about police-work trends, especially ones that would lead a reporter to draw conclusions in this specific case.

Very few places is this an issue. We do have challenges with opiate addiction like most places and our social safety net is pretty weak. So theft for drugs comes with the territory. But i would some of this is mitigated by positive cultural forces- education is good and the decent people far outweigh the baddies.
